2018 Municipal Elections

The next Municipal Election is Monday, October 22, 2018.

Are you interested in making a difference by helping to create a community that is vibrant and welcoming? Do you have a vision that provides a greater quality of life for your fellow citizens? The 2018 municipal election is an opportunity to express that vision and we encourage you to consider running for municipal council.

Each community in Ontario has their own unique set of opportunities and challenges. It is important to have local leadership in the form of a municipal council who understands these matters and can work with the citizens and the business community to make the best decisions for the community of Wawa.

Local leadership is most effective when it comes from diverse sources. Whether you are a community volunteer, parent, property owner, business person, or newcomer to Wawa, your perspective is important in forming the future direction of Wawa. Please consider the opportunity to represent the best interests of our community, and run for municipal office.
