The Municipality of Wawa wishes to remind everyone to pick up their ice huts on all municipal properties including at William Teddy Park and the Wawa Lake shoreline areas and all municipal boulevards. The abandoned ice fishing huts and contents found along these areas will be impounded by the Municipality by Monday, May 15, 2023.
The owners of the structures and contents may be claimed from the Municipality of Wawa for a cost of $75.00 which covers the transportation and storage of the ice hut and contents in question.
Impounded Ice huts and contents which are not claimed by Friday, May 19, 2023, will be sold at a public sale to the highest interested bidder.
