MUNICIPAL NOTICE

Intention to Pass a By-Law to Stop Up, Close, Declare Surplus and Convey Shoreline Road Allowance

TAKE NOTICE THAT Council of the Municipality of Wawa will hold a Regular Meeting on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. and intends to pass a By-Law to stop up, close, declare surplus and offer for sale the shoreline road allowance described as Block D, Plan M-173 along Lake Superior and as shown on the key map below, as permitted under Section 34 of the Municipal Act, 2001.

THE PURPOSE of this Notice is to provide the public with an opportunity to comment on the Municipality’s intent to stop up and close the shoreline road allowance described as Block “D”, Plan M-173, in the Municipality of Wawa and to declare the property surplus and provide it for sale to abutting property owners.

A By-law to stop up and close the subject land will be considered at a Regular Council Meeting held in Council Chambers, 40 Broadway Avenue, Wawa, on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at 6:30 p.m.

Interested persons may attend the Council Meeting on April 5th, 2022, in-person or view the public meeting live at www.youtube.com/channel/UC8MlwvjOvKwP8dNJEdMOeyw.

Written comments may be submitted to the Municipal Clerk, Cathy Cyr, by 4:30 p.m., Friday, March 25, 2022, by email, post mail, or by dropping off at 40 Broadway Ave.
