Notice of Study Commencement - Preliminary Design and Class Environmental Assessment for the Development of a New Truck Rest Centre in Wawa, Ontario

The Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO) has retained the services of Egis to carry out the Preliminary Design and Class Environmental Assessment Study for the development of a new truck rest centre located within the boundaries of Wawa, Ontario.
A Notice of Study Commencement is being issued to inform stakeholders, members of the public and Indigenous communities of the initiation of this project. The project is following an approved planning process under the Class Environmental Assessment for Provincial Transportation Facilities and Municipal Expressways (2024) for a Group “B” project.
